Description:
This is a low serial number Browning Safari in 30-06 caliber, probably from 1959. The rear site has been removed and replaced with tap screws. The original buttplate has been replaced with a Pachmyer pad (LOP 13 1/4" to wood edge, 14 1/4" to pad edge). The wood shows a variety of dings and scratches as well as some lacquer flaking (see last photo). The metal is in better condition with several scuffs and scratches but no rust. Bore is in fine shape. This would serve nicely as a working rifle but not collector-type grade. $30 for shipping, insurance and packaging.
