Marlin Model 1892 in the more desireable .22 Cal. with 24" Barrel manufactured in 1910.
I have had this 92 in my personal collection for several years. I collect 97's and 39's and this is the only 92 i have so it doesn't fit and really isn't my flavor. The only reason i have kept this gun is because i have never seen one even come close in condition? So i am hoping a 92 collector will appreciate this one more than i do! .
I would rate the blueing at 98% with only mild freckling and minor scratches on the left side of the receiver. The balance of the brilliant blue finish on the barrell, magazine tube, hammer, trigger, upper and lower tang is near mint. Case color on the lever is faded but visible. Wood retains most of the original finish with minimal/minor handling marks from field use. No chips or cracks and the wood to metal fit is perfect.
The bore is Perfect and appears new.
