This Para is a little unusual, in that it has the LDA trigger system. For those who are unfamiliar, LDA stands for "Light Double Action." Unlike the traditional single-action only 1911 pistol, the LDA utilizes the long trigger pull of a double action, but without the weight. The bobbed hammer design allows users to carry without the risk of a hammer catching on clothing while drawing. Complemented by a set of Trijicon night sights, this pistol is designed to be carried, as the model's name implies.
