Description:
S# 229235, 12 GA 2 3/4 inch, 20 inch barrel, cylinder choke, bright very good bore. This shotgun was received in warehouse Dec 24, 1903 and shipped Dec 26, 1903 as a riot shotgun according to the Cody Zip sheet. This 110 + year old gun retains 85% blue showing slide wear and scattered light dings and scratches. The worst of which is on the barrel 3" from the muzzle. Wood has 90% finish with dents and scratches. There is A two inch grain crack above at heel. Also there is a small crack at the front of forend grip. See the photos. The Butt shows remnants of white paint marking on right side. Butstock and mag tube cap have added Winchester style sling eyes not mentioned from on the sheet. Butplate is blued steel shotgun style. A genuine 1897 pre WW1 riot gun in great shape that we guarantee will letter. FFL or C&R
