Description:
S#64288, 12 GA 2 3/4 inch, 30 inch barrels. Choked improved modified and full, bright excellent bores. This DS grade gun was built around 1910 and it remains a fine shooter 100 years later. Barrels show about 75% blue with silvering on high edges and at grip location, typical marks from use and some scattered stains. The chambers were honed out to 2 3/4 inches long ago. Frame shows 40% case colors with a few scattered light stains. Triggerguard shows 25% blue mostly in protected areas, with balance silvered. Bottom shows scratches and several small areas of cleaned oxidation with light pitting (see photo). Wood has been lightly refinished. Wood still fits very well with only the lower tang slightly proud. The original LACO Logo butplate shows wear and fits perfectly. Length of pull is 14 1/8 inches with a drop of 1 5/8 inches at comb and 2 3/4 inches at heel. Action locks up tight, extractors work well and triggers are crisp. This fine shotgun is ready for many more years of service. FFL or C&R
