Description:
Serial #B8501, 7.65mm Mauser, 29” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a really nice rifle with all matching numbered parts (including the cleaning rod) that retains 97-98% of the original lustrous blue with the receiver and bolt still retaining their original armory bright finish that has a very small amount of mild freckling here and there. There are traces of very minor silvering at the muzzle and along a few of the high edges as well. The numbered walnut stock with crisp Argentine proofs exhibits only very minor handling marks in the original oil finish which has not worn very much at all during the rifle's service life and only has a handful of very minor bruises on either side of the buttstock. This is a splendid 1909 Argentine that would make a handsome addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
