This is a seldom seen winchester in 44 wcf, very hard to find. this one is serial # 987893, made in 1927. the receiver blue is mostly flaked, some blue remains on the back half. barrel blue is thinned. the bore is like new. the wood is solid with light handling marks. a nice old 53 to take hunting.
