SHARPS CONVERSION breech loading sporting rifle. Octagon barrel marked "OLD RELIABLE SHARPS RIFLE COMPANY BRIDGEPORT CONN". Caliber marked 45. Serial Number (C44717) only on receiver and not on barrel. Action from 1859 Saddle Ring Carbine. Right side of receiver has cover over previous holes. Left side of receiver has sling bar hole plugged. The primer mechanism has been removed from the lock plate. The bore condition is poor. Re-blued barrel and receiver. Wood is very good and has been refinished. Barrel length is 30 inches, diameter is as 1 inch. Need further information please call our office at 716-941-3946.
