Description:
This was a working gun on a Wyoming ranch. It shows that it was used, however it was definitely cared for as well. It shows wear where a working gun usually does, but the finishes otherwise arre nice. It has been drilled and tapped and along the way, the stock was drilled for sling swivels. The rifle includes Savage's trademark brass-indicator round counter, anad it is the takedown version with deluxe checkering and nicely upgraded wood. As well, it wears Savage's basic engraving pattern that remains crisp.

Metal Condition: Blue shows considerable wear around the receiver where it was carried. Most of the barrel retains lots of deep rich blue with some scratching
Wood Condition: Stock shows that the rifle was a tool - numerous bumps and dings, however, the wood shows no cracks or splits, and the checkering is still quite pronounced.
Bore Condition: Rifling is stiill crisp and shows minimal marking
