Very faint unreadable panel on the right ricasso. This can hardly be seen at all except for what looks like the letter “B”. American or English manufacture and 100% original and very handsome with a lovely stag hilt with a German silver floral band and brass cross guard. The floral band is much in the manner of sword maker F.W. Widmann of Philadelphia. Very nice condition showing moderate use and a the original uncleaned patina. Extra nice big bowie of the early pre Civil War era. SOLD |
