JOSLYN CARBINE
14-161 Joslyn Model 1864 Civil Carbine, Iron mountings, bbl. Band, trigger guard, butt plate; bbl blued; lock case hardened. Serial # 11260 on Frame and Breech Brock.
Condition: Barrel Blue turning pleasing brown-plum color, metal is very clean with no corrosion on lock, Barrel, sideplate, Some faded case hardening on sideplate etc; stock is generally clean attractive with some dings, dents, hairline cracks, etc. And has good cartouche on left side. Bore has 85% of the rifling, but some wear and corrosion. Works fine mechanically. Overall fine, attractive, Civil War carbine. (14-161)
