This museum grade piece dates from 1933 and as the photos clearly show is in exceptionally nice condition. This service grade '03 is guarranteed to be 100% original and would be almost impossible to improve on for a rifle from this period. IT IS NOT A REBUILD. THe rifle is fully and properly cartouched and all components are correct to the era. The bore and N.S. marked bolt face show no wear whatsover. This may in fact be an unfired, unissued specimen. The finish is the correct dark parkerizing and exhibits the "cosmoline green" tint typical of rifles held in war reserve during WWII.
