Chistmas Price Reduction!!!!!! Great price for a Colt NAVY NAVY..Price: $1900.00. Colt Model 1851 Navy US Navy. Serial number 90442. Mfg. 1859 just before the war. Serial number matching on all parts except loading lever. Number is on cylinder pin and wedge. Loading lever appears to be a period replacement lever as its finish is in line with the rest of the revolver. The gun has a nice brown gray patina. The grips are correct as they are the dark/black unvarnished type that were on Navy purchased Navies. Has steel back strap and trigger guard. Cylinder has slight traces of sea waves of cylinder scene. 10 of 12 Screws are excellent/fine. One very good, wedge screw good. Butt of grip has dings and dents and a small chip on the front right toe. (12/16/14 new info: not a chip but looks more like wear) Action is excellent. Front post site stands high. No safety pins remain. Great markings and numbers. Click on last photo to see right side of gun. Honoring 3 day inspection. Buyer pays 26.00 insurance and shipping.
