WW1 SPRINGFIELD U.S. MODEL 1903 MARK 1 MILITARY .30-06 CALIBER RIFLE CIRCA 1918. Serial number in time for use in WW1 by the AEF. Refinished and re-barreled for WW2 with a barrel dated “6-44” which was D-Day. Nice looking example of a Mark 1 that had a long service life. No import marks. Metal with 40-50% parkerized finish mixed with patina. Wood worn and refinished and handguard an original replacement. Perfect working order and bore very good plus with darkening but crisp rifling that should clean up even better.
