* * * SOLD ON HOLD PENDING FUNDS / Arisaka Japanese Type 99 Short Rifle. series 23, made at Kokura Arsenal, serial # 55375 m/m, cal. 7.7mm, with a 26” barrel and a very good bore, Rifle has a full Mum, retains 80%+ blue finish with pitting to right side of receiver. The wood show use with dings, dents bruises, this baby’s a typical battlefield pickup that’s been there done it just wish it could talk. The bolt is mismatched with the following numbers bolt 884, extractor unnumbered, F.P. 233, Safety 233, the front band # is 373. The cleaning rod is present and the rifle is equipped with aircraft wings. The overall condition as described is good. (C&R) Inv.: # 2-1727
