Description:
Garand M-1 Winchester. Caliber 30-06. Looks and shoots nice. U.S. Rifle .30 Cal.
Stock has usual nicks and scratches and the number 50 lightly stenciled on the butt stock (see picture) but looks presentable. Serial number is six digit making it as originally built by Winchester in November of 1941. A pre war rifle! Stock is a dark walnut and metal is about 90 percent. TE is a 3. I don't have a muzzle guage but bore is shiny and rifling looks good. No hump gas lock. Barrell is original Winchester with their proof mark. Other proofs are ordinance stamp with eagle and three stars on left side and circle P on grip. Most other parts marked SA for Springfield. The windage knob is marked DRC.
