This is truely a NEW shotgun. It is unfired, and I doubt it has even been opened or had the hammers cocked more than a few times in one hundred and thirteen years. The date of manufacture is 1901.
Serial # 213722. It is the rarer LIGHTWEIGHT model.
The barrels are 30 inches stub twist, choked full and full. The weight is 7 pounds, 9 ounces empty. For the serious Remington collector this is certainly a once in a lifetime opportunity.
