REMINGTON NEW MODEL ARMY PERCUSSION CIVIL WAR REVOLVER
Remington New Model Army Percussion Civil War Revolver, 44 cal., 6-shot 8” Bbl. Ser # 54801. Standard Markings, “Patented Sept 14, 1858/E Remington & Sons Lion New York, USA/ New Model”, has military inspector’s markings on various parts. The bore has 50% rifling and some corrosion; cylinder chambers are clean. Action works well and locks up properly when cocked. Metal is very clean light patches of corrosion. This gun would be perfect for someone who wants to shoot an original antique with some rifling. Overall a nice VG original antique Civil War era Remington Army suitable for collector/shooter.
