* * * SOLD ON HOLD PENDING FUNDS / Beretta Model 1915 Semi Auto Pistol. serial # 147xx matching, cal. 9 mm, with a 3 ¾” barrel and a very good bore that’s bright & strong with light frosting. The metal surfaces with fairly strong original blue on frame with slide a gray blue patina. The inscription on front grip strap "Gli Amici" translates to The Friends, the backstrap is engraved "Al t Giano Bonomi" translation Dr. Janus Bonomi. I’m not sure if this doctor was military but most pistols I’ve encountered with dedications were generally given buy staff, worth researching. The Diamond checkered walnut grips have flattening to the diamonds. Pistol comes with a single 7 rd. original magazine. The overall condition is good – good plus. Inv.: # 1-1247
