Description:
REDUCED Belgian made 11.8 mm SXS percussion shotgun, unknown maker. Bore is slightly larger than a .410 and should posess similar ballistics. Beautifully balanced 4 3/4 pounds that will hunt all day, 48" OAL, 31 3/4" NON-damascus octogonal barrels, 14 1/2" LOP to front trigger. Brown patina to barrels which ring true. Unknown chokes due to bore size. Highly figured wood may have been professionally refinished, has professional glass bedding repairs to oil softened wood areas under barrels which cant be seen when assembled, and a screw or 2 may have been replaced at some time. As usual, I suggest you have it inspected by your gunsmith before firing. Includes 500 pre-lubed fiber wads and a 12mm punch to make your own cardboard overpowder and overshot wads - simply add powder and shot and give those birds a go.
