This is a new Remington Custom Shop Model 547 in .17 HMR. Based on the Model 504 design, Remington's 547 Rimfire Rifles combine premium components to create rifles with unparalleled accuracy. The button-rifled 22 inch carbon-steel Shilen barrels guarantee 1/2" maximum group size at 50 yards. The match chamber with a concave dish crown protects the high-grade rifling from damage. The rifle also features a receiver machined from a solid bar of steel with a rear lock-up design, a positive bedded action with twin takedown screws, dual extractors for positive feeding, and an advanced barrel-clamp design for a strong action-to-barrel union. The classic walnut stock boasts a black forend tip and grip cap as well as traditional checkering to offer a solid hold. The stylish bolt design is modeled after the popular Model 700. The trigger is set at a crisp 3 lbs.
