#4937 Winchester 1873 OBFMCB, 44WCF, serial numbered in the 91XXX range (1882), and being an early 3rd Variation of the 1873 it does not yet have the caliber markings on the barrel or brass cartridge elevator. Mechanically smooth and tight, bore is above average, at least a 7+ on a scale of 10 and may clean even better. The exterior has an even plumming brownish-blue with good amounts of dulling blue; about 80% coverage and 30% density . Very good metal, markings, and very good wood with just minor dings and dents from 132 years of use. Standard open buckhorn rear sight and pinched blade front, standard trigger. Definitely a condition well above what is usually seen at gun shows. VG+ $2765
