COLT MODEL 1851 NAVY REVOLVER. .36 caliber , six shot with 7 ½” octagon barrel with one line “ADDRESS COL. SAML. COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA” barrel address. An original Colt Model 1851 Navy with mixed serial numbers. London proofs on barrel and Liege proofs on cylinder. Frame stamped “COLT’S/PATENT”. Loading lever catch replaced. Original one piece walnut grips. Worn overall but with nice brown original patina. Cocks but does not register properly. Worn unshootable bore. Colorful original example.
