Springfield 1903 Special Target shipped Feburary 2, 1930. ( According to Springfield Research) with Unertl 8 power scope.. . The rifle was manufactured in 1929-30 it has a NM bolt with reversed safety and headless cocking piece. NM butt plate, correct c stock, NM ladder sight, NM trigger (serrated), the Unertl blocks are correctly marked with "O" & "E" The reciever is Nickel steel and is taped for a Lyman 48. It does not have a star gauged barrel. That would be appropiate for a Special Target. Barrel date "5-29". The Unertl is a standard 8 power. The rifle comes with correct cleaning kit and age appropriate leather sling. The bore is bright and shiny. I have more pictures available. Will try to answer any questions.
