This is a Civil War Starr Arms Company Carbine in .54 Percussion. These carbines were manufactured from 1862 to 1865. Most were converted to cartridge after the war. This one is original percussion. These were a strong competitor of Sharp's. Many were used in the Western Campaigns in Arkansas and Missouri. This one has extremely nice wood and the bore is excellent. These are hard to find in this condition. More pictures available upon request. Buyer pays $30.00 shipping. Three day inspection allowed if returned UNALTERED. Must be 21 years of age to purchase.
