Payment Types Accepted: M/C, VISA, American Express and Discover Description: Iron Frame Henry Rifle. Made in 1860. Very scarce gun. Nice sharp barrel with a brown patina and spots of gray patina along the edges. Buttstock has been nicely refinished long ago and there was a repair at the wrist where a bolt or acre had been placed and the hole is now filled. Gun is all matching including the screws, the number on the stock is partially obliterated, but enough can be seen to be sure this is the original stock. Barrel address is clear, sight is correct. Gun has a later Henry cleaning rod that is metal instead of the wood rod. Bore is very fine! This bore has excellent rifling and still has a shine. There is some pitting, but it is excellent for an iron frame Henry. This is a very sharp, nice iron frame Henry! These are scarce guns, as less than 400 of them were made and the survival rate for iron frames are extremely low. SOLD |
