A good MARKWELL Spanish .45 CAL PLAINS RIFLE rifled octagonal barrel 33 1/2" with a good rifled bore, that has strong rifling and some surface frosting in the grooves, but will spin a bullet good..Has one trigger, and brass furniture. Has a brass patch-box.The barrel is browned but now faded to smooth /mottled color finish, with a blade front sight, and a rear dovetailed sight. Lock and hammer has remains of color case hardening.This may have been an early 1960's import .45 cal rifle as around the lock-plate the cut is uneven.And works very well.European Walnut wood is very clean with no issues!Has a hard wood ram-rod with brass tip. Overall a very clean LYMAN rifle made long ago!We don’t have asite, and sell on the internet only. This unit is an inexpensive beginner muzzle-loader .45 cal. rifle.
