Colt .22 LR Conversion Unit for 1911/Gov't 45 and allows you to shoot inexpensive .22 Long Rifle ammo. The kit comes complete with all parts needed including: slide (complete with adjustable sights, firing pin, extractor, etc), barrel, barrel bushing, recoil spring, Spring plug, spring guide, ejector, magazine, and slide lock. The unit retains the original blue finish and is free of rust or pitting. Excellent mechanical condition and excellent bore. Comes in the original vintage Colt box. (Sold originally on Dec. 24, 1951 for $45.00.)
