1968 Colt Python 357/38 4 inch barrel Nickel Finish. Serial # 57xxx.
Here is a stunning Colt Python with a beautiful Nickel Finish. No box however the frame, under the grips. is stamped N. The Nickel finish is beautiful. The grips are sharp. There is just a slight finish loss on the right grip. Looks like the finish just chipped off? Could easily be touched up but it has never bothered me enough to do that. The 357 and Colt logo is not as distinct as on other Pythons i have owned? I asked a couple older collectors and they believe the gun is original and appears to have been fired little if at all? The finish is much nicer than any nickel Python or Diamondback i have ever owned but they are all post 1970 and and most are NIB.
