This is a third block production carbine. Carbine's serial number is 5200032. The barrel date is 5-44. This carbine is a veteran's take home gun. This gun has not been restored or rebuilt. This is an all original as issued carbine! Shows very little use or wear. All the parts are correct for this serial number and retain their original finish. Has the hard to come by type two barrel band. The correct sling and oiler also show near new condition. The bore is like new. The rear sight is the correct milled adjstable sight. The bolt is the correct blued round style. The stock and forend are correctly marked for this carbine. This is really a first rate 1944 produced carbine with no faults. This carbine will statisfy any discriminating collector.
