This Carbine's serial number is 45558. The barrel date is 8-42. This is an all correct inland Carbine. This gun has the double bevel trigger housing, correct early operating rod, dog leg hammer, correct bolt, correct serrated saftey and magazine catch to name a few. The "I" stock and hand guard have the correct stamps and ordnance wheel for this serial number range. The carbine has the original finish intact. The bore is very fine and bright. This gun shows some service use but no abuse. These "I" stock carbines are the most desirable carbines to collect. This is a complete correct early Inland carbine ready to join a collection!
