Decent 44-40s arw drying up! LOOK! DO NOT MISS THIS DEAL! REDUCED EVEN FURTHER ! I have sold a LOT of Winchesters on GI but this is BY FAR the BEST DOLLAR VALUE Here is a really good buy in a Winchester 1873 rifle in the highly desirable 44-40 with the CLASSIC MOST POPULAR octagon barrel and full magazine. It is the very last third model 1873 I have for sale in the 44-40 - and priced well below book as you can see. It is not true collector quality but MUCH more than just a 'shooter' condition example. You look at the pictures - compare the good and the flaws and see for your self. It has a very good original shiny strong bore and tight snappy action. No special order options - standard factory sights. The barrel has some fair size dings near the receiver that appear to be a half hearted attempt to remove the barrel. It has a few minor dings on the top right of the receiver ( see pictures) It has very minor dings on the tube just forward of the front hand guard. The receiver finish is going patina/plum ( not brown) and the barrel has most of the blue. The wood fit is very good with most of original finish - several moderate handling marks - but nothing bad. Few minor pits on receiver - hardly visible at arm's length. All markings decent and no wear in finger lever spring. It is about an honest 55- 60% finish gun. AT 40% it still books at about $4000 and at 60%about $ 5000. $3600 will put it paid on your doorstep. It is probably the best third model 1873 44-40 oct barrel deal on Guns International.. No licence necessary - ship right to your doorstep! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? YOU CAN'T GO WRONG!
