Description:
This Model 1886 is in very good condition for its age (mfg 1897). The barrel is in excellent condition, and doesn't have much wear visible. There is a small amount of bluing loss on top of the barel in front of the receiver. The receiver is in very good condition, but has bluing loss on most of the edges. There is a very minor amount of speckling on the bottom of the receiver, just in front of the lever. There are some spots on the receiver that could have been some moisture at some point, but haven't rusted. The stock and the fore end are in fairly good shape, but have some minor dings and scratches visible throughout the wood. There doesn't appear to be any cracks in the wood. The bore is in good condition, but does have some pitting near the muzzle.
