30" octagon-to-round barrel with windage-adjustable globe front sight; never cut for rear sight. Graceful scheutzen stock of highly figured European walnut with horn schnabel forend tip, S-curve pistol grip, classic point-pattern checkering, high comb, cheekpiece and nickel-plated off-hand Swiss buttplate. Fully scroll-engraved, non-faceted and non-rebated action with encircled bear on left and running stag on right, fire-blued double-set triggers, finger loop loading lever and mid-range vernier tang peep sight. Pull: 13 3/4". Weight: 11lbs, 12oz. Mfd ca 1884. Retaining 90% barrel blue and 60% action casehardening colors. Excellent bore.
