Description:
Serial #7548d, 9mm Para., 4 7/8? barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This ?cyq? coded pistol has matching numbers on the frame, slide, barrel, and locking block with the metal retaining 85-90% of the original dark blue finish that has silvered lightly at the muzzle as well as on the exposed edges, projections, and bearing surfaces. The metal has the rough milling and polish typical of Spreewerke-made guns and almost all of the original red paint remains on the ?F? within the safety/de-cocker relief cut while about half of the white ?S? paint remains. The dark brown phenolic resin grips are in fine shape and have only a few very minor handling marks on either side but these are negligible. There is no import marking and a single ?jvd? marked wartime magazine is included which matches the condition of the pistol perfectly. This is a great World War II P.38 and is in fine-near excellent condition overall. FFL or C&R
