This is an Original D.W.M. Mauser 1916 dated rifle. This rifle is all match serial numbered. Serial number is 4714 dd. The bore is bright and clean with no pitting. This gun has not been through an Arsenal rebuild. It is all original as issued condition. This is a veteran's take home from the Great War. All the markings and stampings are intact and clear. There is no damage or defects with this rifle. This rifle would rate 95% condition. I have the original muzzle cover. sling, bayonet and ammunition pouch. The muzzle cover works correctly and is unit marked. The sling is supple and in very fine condition. The bayonet is 1916 dated and is made by D.W.M. AG. The blade is bright and has not been sharpened. Comes with the original scabbard and frog. The ammunition pouch is supple with no damage or missing parts. It is dated 1915. The maker is hard to read. These standard infantry rifles of World War One are very hard to find today in original condition and to have these accessories is a real plus! This set would go great with any military collection or Mauser collector. Search for Harry Viezens on google.
