Description:
These are quite rare as only 892 were manufactured.  In Nov. 1861, 391 were issued to the 1st Michigan Cavalry, then in late 1863, 501 were issued to the 8th West Virginia Mounted Infantry.  All saw service and few are seen today.  It is marked “Edward Linder’s Patent March 29, 1859” in three lines on the top of the breech.  The rear sight is mounted alongside the hammer.  It is complete with the sling ring on the left side of the stock.  The walnut wood is very good, showing only light wear.  If you are collecting Civil War Carbines, you need this one.  US only – no International sales.  Buyer pays $30.00 shipping.  Three day inspection allowed if returned UNALTERED.  Must be 21 years of age to purchase.  Antique! No FFL required. If your state requires an FFL for antiques, you should call 251-510-5007 before buying.  Any weapon you plan to shoot should be inspected by a competent gun smith before firing.  Give us a calll.
