It is a beautiful .30 .06 built on Exhibition Bastogne Walnut. Bastogne or Parodox is a hybrid resulting from a cross between English and
Black Walnut species. It is chosen due to closed pores and hardness to withstand heavy recoil. As you can see from the pictures there is figure throught the entire stock.Again from the pictures you can see the meticulous detail around the action and the floorplate. This rifle has a Dakota Skeleton Grip Cap and a McFarland Skeleton Butplate with checkering inside each. No small feat! The action is Springfield and the Barrel is Douglas (oldest barrel maker in the US). The Barrel is crowned and the entire metal finish is matt black. It has a 4X Leupold ( Duplex Crosshair) scope with Warne QD mounts.The shadow cheek stock is caped off with an ebony fore end and custom inserted swivels. The checkering is flawless and the Rifle is in 100% condition as it was never hunted (test fired only) The LOP is 14" with a 22" Barrel and the weight is 8.19 lbs. You will find this a truly exceptional rifle.
