This early Indian war axe, I've had for many years and it looks like it may have been dug up and cleaned, yet has a brown aged patina. There is evidence of hammer forging and the overall length is about 10 1/4" and height is about almost 7" at the blade. The blade edge has many nicks and war dents. The blade is profusely marked with the makers marks. These were trade axes, and often used by successive Indians as it was traded and handed down from generations. It may have been buried with a Sachem or chief, and we'll never know as the location found is lost in time. We don’t have a web site .I prefer money orders or a check. Item ships when funds come in.
