Description:
Gorgeous Pre War Model 12 Skeet in 16 gauge with a solid rib. Serial# 732xxx 1937. Generally regarded by all as the finest pump action shotgun ever created, this beautiful example remains in excellent condition with hardly any wear other than some thinning blue along the root of the barrel on each side, presumably from a hand rubbing while operating slide. 97% plus Blue, 98% wood. Marked SKEET on underside beneath serial # and WS-1 on barrel which was Winchester's designation for Skeet choke 1 beginning in 1935. A very scarce shotgun indeed at a price well below book value.
