Description:
Merkel 201E O/U 12 Gauge. Here is a beautiful shotgun, manufactured in Suhl, Germany. There is scroll and deep relief game scene engraving on the receiver and trigger guard. The shotgun has a tight fitting barrel to action lockup. The receiver is fitted with double triggers, front articulating, cocking indicators and ejectors. The barrel and butt-stock are fitted with sling swivels and the butt-stock has fine checkering (25 lines per inch), a beaded cheekpiece and ebony pistol grip cap. A very nice classic German fowling piece!
