Description:
Serial #213239, .25 ACP, 1 7/8” barrel with a very good bore that has some minor freckling within the grooves. This is a 1924 dated pistol that has French markings and both Eibar and French proofs. The metal retains 80-85% of the original blue finish with spots of freckled gray fading along the top radius of the slide, at the muzzle, and along the high edges and projections. Most of the finish loss occurs on the left side with some further freckling and tiny specks of pinprick pitting visible as well. The checkered horn grip panels have curved “PINKERTON” banners and are in very good condition with even, light wear and mild flattening of the points. The pistol comes with a single nickel plated magazine and is in very good condition overall. This is a nice example of a between-the-wars vest pocket pistol. FFL or C&R
