Description:
Serial #8333b, 9mm Steyr., 5? barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1914 dated pistol which has matching numbers on the frame and slide (the slide is not original but has been renumbered to match). The barrel does not match. The metal retains 99% of a dark reblued finish with smooth, even bluing throughout, even in the original slide markings and the later hand-applied markings on the slide. The Romanian military proof is still clear on the right side of the trigger guard and the checkered walnut grips are in very good shape with some scattered minor handling marks and some light flattening of the points, mostly toward the butt on both sides. This is a fine, mechanically excellent refinished Steyr-Hahn and would make a good shooter. FFL or C&R
