Outstanding Winchester 70 243 Varmint in near mint condition with desirable STEEL butt plate and Unertl 12x Ultra Varmint scope! Serial# is 362xxx 1956. 99% Blue, 97% Wood. 26" heavy varmint barrel with excellent bore has correct flat crown "in the white". Monte Carlo stock with perfect checkering. There is a small area of touch up on wood below left side receiver, does not stand out, just reduced price. These earlier quality Varmints with the steel plate don't come along very often, especially in this condition.
