Heckler & Koch P7M8 9MM pistol.This is a very scarce & desireable CHANTILLY import,and is date coded,"II" for 1988. This is a bit unique as the manual is marked,"LAW ENFORCEMENT DIVISION
GOVERNMENT SALES DIVISION and COMMERCIAL SALES DIVISION" on the back cover of the manual.Gun serial numbert and model are also written in the povided spaces on the front of the cover.
The introduction to the gun in the manual,is also specific that this gun is for Law enforcement.

My guess tis that this gun was a demo or possibly owned by a police officer or police ranking officer.
This gun appears to be unfired.EXCELLENT condition.NEW IN THE BOX.
