Description:
Serial #5195, 12 ga., 30" barrels with very good, lightly freckled bores. This is a handsome shotgun that retains nearly all of its original twist pattern on the barrels (save for a single faded spot on the right tube near the muzzle and a single small peen mark about halfway down the same tube. The frame retains 90% plus of the original color case-hardening with a commensurate amount remaining on the hammers. The walnut stock and forend are also in fine shape and have only some minor handling marks and scratches scattered about the original varnish finish. The length of pull measures 14 3/8" to the original steel buttplate and the drops measure 1 5/8" and 2 1/2" respectively. The gun has tight lock-up and the locks function flawlessly. This is a truly nice example of an Underlifter Parker and retains much more original finish than one normally sees. Antique
