Description:
S# 7859, .303 Savage, 26 inch Octagon barrel, good bore with strong rifling and frosted grooves. This rifle remains in very good condition with 30% blue on receiver in protected areas. Barrel shows a developing dark patina mixed with oxidation stains. Features include original sights, unfired shots indicator and cocked firing pin indicator in a hole in bolt top. Wood shows wear and marks from use and traces of an old peep sight mounted above wrist. This is a very attractive rifle with original bolt and desirable cartridge counter that will look great in any savage collection. Antique
