Description:
S#3483, .351 cal, 20 inch barrel, bright excellent bore. This 1917 built carbine remains in good condition with a grey receiver showing traces of blue. The mail order replacement barrel retains 80% blue with wear and fading mostly near muzzle. Buttstock is a later vintage with wide (Police Style) butt and checkered steel buttplate. It shows 60% finish. Forend has an eight inch repairable crack on left. A small chip on right front and wears a little added oil. Operating rod has the early style round button. The barrel bottom is importer stamped. This rifle has a great bore and will make a fine shooter. FFL or C&R
