#2 Frame CHE built in 1909. It has the Bernard steel barrels that are popular with collectors at this time, and with a pattern that has the appearance of having just been etched. Bores are nice and shiny, with only the hint of some light pitting in the right barrel. Barrel finish is 90%+. 50%+ case coloring remains on the receiver, with 60%+ in the protected areas and around the lever. The engraving features dogs on three sides, with scrollwork tying it all together. The beautiful, C grade wood shows normal wear from handling and appears to have its original finish. The action on this proud S x S is still nice and tight. All serial numbers are matching, and the gun as a whole shows very few signs of tampering. This Parker will quickly find a home in someone's collection, next to others of its quality.
