The legendary handling and quickness of the Model 70 Featherweight is justly famous among hunters everywhere. This Model 70 action offers the Pre-’64 style Controlled Round Feeding, and a Three-Position Safety. This original Featherweight features the angled comb Grade I walnut stock with Schnabel fore-end and satin finish with elegant cut checkering.
This rifle is used, but it remains in very good original condition with most of the original blue. It has seen some hunting use but the bore and all mechanics are still in excellent condition. The original sights are present. Solid stock that features maple inlays. This will make an excellent vintage Winchester to hunt with while it keeps increasing in value. Includes a period Weaver K6 scope. The serial number on the gun dates its year of manufacture as 1961. Pictures are of actual firearm, and the best representation of what you will receive.
